ACANTHUS AUREUS AWARD FOR CDA POLSKA!

Yesterday, at the Glass fair in Poznań, we received the ACANTHUS AUREUS award! The Golden Akanta statuette is awarded to the stands best designed and prepared to implement the company’s marketing strategy during the fair.

The award is granted to exhibitors by the MTP fair organizer, its aim is to reward solutions that foster direct relations with customers. In 2003 the Poznań International Fair established the ACANTHUS AUREUS award, i.e. GOLDEN AUREUS. The combination of these two words, where the word ACANTHUS is associated with classical patterns in architecture, and the word AUREUS with the highest laureates in almost every area of life, emphasizes the unique character of this award.

The name ACANTHUS (Akant) comes from a kind of ornamental plant with large deep cut leaves. The decorative motif in the shape of acanthus leaves was used in the architecture of ancient Greece and Rome. The leaf ornament on the head of the Corinthian column is the acanthus leaves. The word AUREUS in Latin means golden.
